Live For Buzz

The owner of 13 Roses Tattoo in EAV is a very active Buzzer, so his shop tends to get a lot of attention on the Buzz. But Buzzer Ratfink stepped up this week to remind folks that his shop just outside the heart of the Village has opened a gallery next door.

The Buzz encourages business owners to speak up and pimp themselves, so it was good to see Ratfink jumping into the conversation.

Not so long ago, there was a nice man named Heath who ran a little auto repair shop on Glenwood Avenue next door to East Atlanta Ace Hardware. Well, Heath closed up shop there and moved on to a new place, but in its wake a very ugly, junk-car-strewn, likely unlicensed and almost surely illegal “auto repair” place has sprung up.

The neighborhood isn’t real happy about this, and the powers-that-be are working to get the place closed down, but Code Enforcement in the City of Atlanta moves slowly at best, so who knows how long this place will stay open.
