For a lot of people, Australian Bakery Cafe is a tough sell. It takes a certain amount of bravery to step up to the case of sometimes strange-looking meat pies and order up some lunch.

It was really disappointing to hear that Corndogorama was leaving its native home at The EARL and setting up shop somewhere else. Where it moved to isn’t important - it’s not Corndogorama if it’s not in EAV.

Good news on the restaurant / bar front - a place called The Glenwood is set to open, not surprisingly, on Glenwood Avenue. A welcome turnaround for a strip of East Atlanta buildings that has sat vacant far too long.

That was quick. Honey’s Kitchen - the breakfast/lunch venture brought to you by the folks who own the copy shop and used to own part of Cantina La Casits - has closed up shop.
Not a lot of tears were shed by Buzzers. Honey’s offered a rather unremarkable breakfast and passable meat-and-three lunches, but it really didn’t seem to be filling much of a need in EAV.
